[photopress:google_logos.jpg,full,alignleft]What is google?

- A search engine
- A full service advertising agency
- A verb in English language

This list will go on and on. But what is actually Google doing? What is their goal in the long run? What were the Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin’s plans when they first started google?

This is a pretty long article about my thoughts about Google’s dangerous monopoly game foreplay.

After the launch of Google Adwords (Google Sponsored Search Results), it has started to become popular. It was a great way for google to make money. Many users didn’t even notice they were paid search results, so they have clicked them. Google showed paid search results only at the right sidebar of the screen. My first thought was; They will eventually put these paid search results at the top section just above the organic search results, and they did.

Google Adwords has become a multi billion dollar revenue source for Google, and they wanted to make their shareholders happy quarter after quarter. Don’t get me wrong, I love google, I have always been a big fan since their launch, but just like any other corporation the interests started shifting at the Google Headquarters.

[photopress:international_market_research.jpg,full,alignleft]Your business is growing, and the US market brings great profits, but remember there are so many countries out there with fast growing IT industries.

It doesn’t matter what your product is. You may have a very basic time sheet management software written by you or a potential CRM software or maybe a complete small business software. You might be selling 10x more to international markets if you have the accurate market research data and know which country/industry to focus first.

Many US based hardware suppliers are busy with dealing US market. Cheap hardware suppliers from China and other Asian companies have strict limitations getting into European and other world markets due to import restrictions. Therefore as a US based business, you will have a head start and will be able to make handsome profits by focusing international IT markets.

I will tell you, step by step, how to get your business into International IT Markets.

Busy Schedule Are you a true entrepreneur with tons of genious ideas, but not well organized? Do you often miss your appointments, or postpone your projects? Don’t worry, we all do have the same problems during our daily busy schedules.

How do you keep track of your schedule? With your PDA, Outlook, or sticky notes? If sticky notes control your life, it is time to reorganize the way you keep track of your appointments. If you are well organized, you will maximize your time and profits.

Here are my suggestions for being more organized.

Reorganize your daily tasks and establish a schedule. What are your regular obligations at and outside of the work? Write down all of your daily tasks, and also estimate the time you spend on these tasks. Remember to avoid scheduling a long day. Try to keep your schedule within an 8 or 9 hours a day. As a small business owner, you will of course have long business days, but remember working more doesn’t always mean maximizing your time. Try to avoid your business life interrupting your off business hours. If you only think and do business 24/7, you will never have an optimized output. [click to continue…]

Biz Tech IT Magazine for Small BusinessesComputer hardware and software direct marketer CDW Corp. began a quarterly magazine for small businesses called Biz Tech, the Vernon Hills, IL-based company said yesterday.
The publication focuses on information technology strategies for businesses with 20 to 99 employees and features ads for CDW products. The first issue contains 64 pages and will be distributed to 50,000 businesses nationwide, drawing mainly from CDW’s customer base.

After conducting market research, CDW identified the 20- to 99-employee segment as one with unique IT needs. The research also showed that this segment often is overlooked by existing media resources.

Biz Tech will address senior decision makers and IT executives with articles that cover technology and business issues. Case histories drawn from CDW customers’ experiences also will be provided.

CDW also created a Web site, biztechmagazine.com, which provides additional tools, a discussion board, access to CDW technology expertise, archived articles and white papers.
