Is becoming a successful entrepreneur your biggest goal? Do you have doubts in mind before getting into real business?

Let’s look at the characteristics and skills of successful entrepreneurs determined by researchers and experts. Then you can decide yourself if you can become one of the greatest entrepreneurs in the world.

A Successful Entrepreneur …

• is a self-starter
• likes to compete and learns from competitors.
• is able to determine risk and has the courage to take risks but is not a gambler
• is independent and self-confident, yet knows when to get help
• is able to do many things at once
• likes a challenge
• is creative, and has dreams and goals
• likes to work for him/herself and be in control
• hardworking and willing to stick with a project
• is not easily discouraged
• is in good health, has lots of energy and can handle stress
• has a strong sense of self-worth
• is motivated by a strong desire to achieve and attain financial success
• is a positive thinker who does not dwell on setbacks
• focuses his/her attention on the chances of success rather than the chances of failure
• often has a close friend or relative who owns a business
• is often a recent immigrant to North America (within two generations)

This is a great list, you have to re-evaluate every single topic for yourself. Sometimes it is easier to see a cheklist and go through that list for rethinking process.

Remember, nobody becomes an entrepreneur, you were born as an entrepreneur (or not). So if you see that light, don’t waste another hour of your life at a 9 to 5 daily job, and start planning to own a successful business.
